Something of a departure from my last two projects!
I'm always full of Various Ideases and this year i thought i'd take a stab at something more narrative focused. I enjoy writing and drawing, and giving myself the freedom to be real messy with the scenes in this really helped squeeze the idea into my somehwat limited free time.
Also gave me an excuse to dip into some really self indulgent kinks ;3c
As usual i havent tested the linux build uxu; but this time ive got a web build that should hopefully work everywhere (including mobile!).
I'm also just saying upfront i'm not gonna be adding anything to these jam games after the deadline from now on. if it Does happen then you can consider it a bonus, but this one is complete enough that it doesn't really need any aftercare anyway.
There's a fun little easter egg interaction if you poke around with the mouse. see if you can find it!~

the sound design for this is absolutely amazing. you’ve done an incredible job creating a really immersive experience. the UI also adds so much to the experience and I wish there were more things like it.

Really good stuff. I wasn't too sure about the heartbeat thing at first, but it does a surprisingly good job at adding immersion.
I'm aware it's somewhat late to make additions, but the only thing I can think of that's missing is keyboard controls.
Omg! I loved every second of it! I love the atmosphere and visuals! Heartbeat feature was right on spot! I felt my own heart beating in unison.
I have a question about easter egg - does it have to do something with one of the last doors starting to blink red but not having option to interact with it if you keep pacing back and forth?
...technically speaking that's not *the* easter egg i was referring to but now im starting to worry that i accidentally hid something that was meant to be straightforward!! lol maybe ill do some tiny last-minute adjustments
Ah i see! So that red blinking is meant to represent monster on the loose?
yep :3 but since there's still a little time left in the jam i've made some adjustments in order to make the intended main path clearer
Really fun game the use of the heartbeat was so fun <3 I sadly couldn't find the easter egg but loved this so much you make amazing games! I'd love to see more
